Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on medical urgency
- Provide expert clinical guidance via phone triage for incoming patient calls
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate emergency department transfers
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Develop patient care plans and educate families on treatment protocols
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department efficiency
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
