Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments to determine urgency and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans
- Accurately document patient encounters using Epic EHR systems
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families
- Monitor vital signs and identify critical changes requiring immediate intervention
- Coordinate care transitions across departments efficiently
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/trauma experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and triage decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
