Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Monitor and report health changes to care team
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Maintain accurate care documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year caregiving experience
- Valid Indiana driver's license and insured vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion for elderly/disabled clients
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
