Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and report health status changes to supervisors
- Create engaging companionship through conversation, games, and outings
- Maintain safe, clean home environments for clients
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers
Qualifications
- State nursing assistant (CNA) certification or home health aide (HHA) credentials
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
