Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration)
- Provide basic patient care such as feeding, positioning, and turning patients
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatments as directed
- Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient care and activities accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Must be a certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
