Job Summary
As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide essential care to patients in a residential or clinical setting. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in the Milwaukee community.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient temperature, blood pressure, and pulse under supervision.
- Hygiene Support: Assist with toileting, incontinence care, and skin care to ensure patient dignity.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the medical team.
- Remote Documentation: Utilize secure digital platforms to update patient charts and log care activities remotely.
- Safety Monitoring: Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and reporting incidents.
- Meal Assistance: Serve meals and assist with feeding patients with dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; willing to obtain CNA certification if not already held.
- Experience: No prior healthcare experience required. A strong desire to learn is the only prerequisite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Basic computer skills are required for remote documentation tasks.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods; valid driver's license preferred.
