Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and ambulating patients safely.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
- Communicate patient status and concerns to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Change bed linens and assist with personal hygiene tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred; entry-level candidates with a passion for healthcare are encouraged to apply.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented nature.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
