Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and monitoring throughout the night shift.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, triaging conditions and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient vital signs, medical history, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical alarms.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (WA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Medical-Surgical or Critical Care.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- National certification in a specialty area is a plus.
