Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transferring them safely between bed and chair.
- Observe and report any changes in patient behavior, physical condition, or symptoms to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician or RN.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
