Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary living environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
