Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding patient status and needs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document daily care activities and any changes in patient condition in medical records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification (if available) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
