Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with medical procedures and treatments.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies while maintaining a safe environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure holistic patient treatment.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current and active State CNA Certification (Texas).
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required by the role.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
