Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist the nursing staff with treatment procedures and medical equipment operation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the state of Virginia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong compassion, patience, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
