Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document daily care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Strong desire to enter the healthcare field (experience is a plus, not required).
- CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Reliable transportation for travel assignments (if applicable).
