Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor resident vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document care accurately and maintain resident records
- Transport residents safely to medical appointments and activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments in resident rooms and common areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Current, active Ohio CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
