Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses.
- Document patient care plans and medical history accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and clean patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA or LPN license in the State of New York.
- CPR/BLS Certification (ACLS preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus.
