Responsibilities
- Delightful patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Accurate monitoring and recording of vital signs and patient conditions
- Assisting with mobility transfers and repositioning patients
- Collaborating with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintaining clean and safe patient environments
- Providing emotional support to patients and families
- Documenting patient care activities in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Passion for geriatric or long-term care preferred
- Reliable transportation to various NYC locations
