Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses and physicians with procedures and examinations.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by nursing staff.
- Ensure patient rooms and equipment are clean and sanitized.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
