Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to patients
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices
- Support activities of daily living and maintain patient dignity
- Collaborate with RNs on care plans and patient updates
- Maintain clean, safe environments per infection control protocols
- Document observations accurately and timely in patient records
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in a clinical setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Flexibility to work variable shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
- Clear TB test and health screening (provided pre-employment)
- Pass background check and drug screening
