Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or Physician.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate patient status and concerns effectively to the nursing team.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License (CNA II or CNA I).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
