Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure patient safety protocols
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments and follow infection control protocols
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Passionate patient care advocate with empathy and patience
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
