Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Support patient emotional well-being and social interaction
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license (for facility transport)
