Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and medication adherence
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environments
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Follow HIPAA protocols and maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional experience in home care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover weekend and evening shifts
