Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-home care for elderly clients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate health records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Offer companionship and emotional support to combat isolation
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Maintain a clean, safe living environment for clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or certified nursing assistant (CNA) license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills and patience with elderly populations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation for client appointments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
