Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, bathing, and medication management
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social engagements
- Monitor vital signs and document care progress accurately
- Light housekeeping and home maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals
- Respond promptly to client emergencies and needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Passionate about elder care with genuine compassion
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Cleared background check and TB test
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
