Responsibilities
- Provide personalized personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, meal prep)
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Document care activities and client progress accurately
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Report any changes in client condition to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current North Carolina Home Health Aide certification
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Trustworthy background check and drug screening clearance
