Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA/CDC protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Take dental X-rays and perform chairside assistance
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Implement infection control protocols in compliance with state regulations
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting
