Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage patient records and chairside digital charting (Eagletree/Dentrix experience preferred)
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide exceptional patient education and comfort
Qualifications
- Active California RDA license or Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage anxious patients
- Knowledge of dental insurance processing and billing
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings (until 6 PM)
