Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and oral surgery
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and instruments
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Coordinate treatment plans and maintain digital records
- Assist with front office operations including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification or RDA credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish fluency preferred
