Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient records using digital software (EagleSoft/Dentrix)
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance
- Administer topical anesthetics and fluoride treatments
- Maintain immaculate operatory and lab areas
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 1+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- X-ray certification and CPR certification
- Proficiency with dental software (EagleSoft/Dentrix)
- Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
