Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including patient prep, instrument handling, and four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Sterilize equipment and maintain strict infection control standards
- Perform administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and digital record management
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- X-ray certification and radiography experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dentrix/Eaglesoft software proficiency preferred
