Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation using OSHA-compliant protocols
- Capture high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
- Manage patient scheduling, digital records (Dentrix/Epic), and inventory control
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Wisconsin dental radiography permit
