Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments, including instrument handling and suction
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Perform administrative tasks including appointment scheduling and record keeping
- Apply dental materials and provide post-operative instructions
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (required)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental software preferred
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
