Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes, symptoms, or concerns to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification (or willingness to obtain one through our sponsored training program).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn EMR systems.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying environments.
