Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix/EagleSoft systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and intraoral photos
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8-operatories
- Coordinate seamless lab communication for crown/bridge cases
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of HIPAA and dental privacy regulations
- Strong attention to detail with infection control expertise
