Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and oral surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient education on post-operative care and hygiene
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage digital records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal workflow efficiency
- Coordinate front desk duties when needed (appointments, billing)
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB-registered required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and impression taking
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management systems
- Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
