Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident health status
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Administer medications under RN supervision accurately and timely
- Document care activities using electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments per infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Proficient with basic medical documentation systems
