Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking as needed.
- Communicate patient status changes to nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Support patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
