Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain patient environments
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Assist with medication reminders under supervision
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of home health or caregiver experience
- Valid New Mexico HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Compassionate nature with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
