Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Administer prescribed medications as directed
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain detailed care records and documentation
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and activities
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland Home Health Aide certification (HHA)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Background check and TB test clearance required
- Fluent English (Spanish speakers encouraged to apply)
