Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
- Administer prescribed medications and assist with mobility support
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care notes and maintain clean, organized living spaces
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being
- Follow strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- State of Florida HHA certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional home care experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Fluent English communication skills
- Compassionate demeanor and patience working with elderly populations
