Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and document vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with care coordinators
Qualifications
- Current California HHA certification or CNA license
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Fluent in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
- Strong empathy and crisis management skills
