Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) for elderly and disabled clients
- Assist with mobility support, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to RN supervisor
- Administer medications and treatments per care plan instructions
- Transport clients to medical appointments and essential errands
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Follow HIPAA protocols and agency safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience required
- Current California HHA certification or CNA license
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid CA driver's license with clean driving record
- Clear TB test and background check
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for vulnerable populations
