Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide feeding assistance as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, cleaning, dishwashing)
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family and medical staff
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide certification (HHA)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid CA driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation for client visits
