Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document client health status accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Companion care including light housekeeping and emotional support
- Implement individualized care plans under clinical supervision
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Texas HHA certification or CNA license (required)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Clear criminal background check and TB test
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English/Spanish (bilingual preferred)
