Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign measurements, and ECG screenings
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and minor surgeries
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate treatment plans
- Administer injections and medications per physician protocols
- Handle medical inventory and supply chain management
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA or NCCT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy skills required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
