Responsibilities
- Perform accurate vital signs, measurements, and patient screenings.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain medical records and electronic health records (EHR) with precision.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse or physician.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the flow of the front office efficiently.
- Ensure the clinical environment is clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
- Previous experience in a clinical or home health setting is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Compliance with all HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
