Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vitals monitoring accurately and efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and charts.
- Administer medications and injections under the direction of a provider.
- Coordinate lab tests and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized examination room for patient safety.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is strongly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
