Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain exam rooms
- Document patient encounters in EHR systems
- Administer injections and medications per protocols
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient education materials
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Valid California MA license
- Background clearance and drug screen required
