As a Medical Assistant, you will be the vital link between patients and providers. You will work in a dynamic environment where your attention to detail and caring nature will directly impact patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and health maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior medical experience necessary (Entry Level candidates welcome).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
